Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (Stafford Act). FEMA LNO in the Oklahoma State Emergency Operations Center (EOC) following the tornados of 19 May 2014 and during the tornado outbreak of 21 May 2014 in central Oklahoma which included the long-track, EF-5 tornado which devastated the city of Moore, OK; this became FEMA-4117-DR-OK (Level 1) response. SITL for FEMA-4147-DR-SC and FEMA-4151-DR-SC, the first federally declared Tribal Recovery for severe weather and flooding for Santa Clara (SC) Pueblo. SITL for FEMA-4148-DR-NM and FEMA-4152-DR-NM for severe weather, flooding and mudslides in New Mexico. SITL for FEMA-4174-DR-AR for tornados in central Arkansas. Planning Support Unit Leader for FEMA-4197-DR-NM and FEMA 4199-DR-NM in response and recovery to severe storms and flooding.

Coordinates assessment of subordinate organizational plans and assesses preparedness to execute contingency and deliberate operations. Prepares, staffs and coordinates documents at the request of the Command Group, Congress, the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Staff.

Lead Operational Planner directly supporting the newly established United States Africa Command (AFRICOM). Jointly supports the Operations and Logistics Directorate, Future Operations Division Chief; and the Strategy, Plans and Programs Directorate, Plans Division Chief and the Office of the Chief of Staff to facilitate the transfer of Missions, Activities, Programs and Exercises (MAPES) and concomitant command responsibility from US European Command, US Central Command and US Pacific Command to US AFRICOM in accordance with the FY09 Unified Command Plan. Prepares and coordinates responses to inquiries from Congress, the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF).
