Born in Akron, Ohio I have been a deputy sheriff, city policeman, and a manager responsible for the internal security of large precious metals facilities. I graduated from the Fulton County Law Enforcement Training Center and the Georgia State Police Academy. I'm also a state-certified firearms instructor and a 5th-degree black belt in the Korean martial arts, which aids in presenting personal protection seminars. I continued my education at Georgia State University, Atlanta Law School, and Ashley University, and have performed security and management consultation for some of the nation's largest companies. I have been in the security and consulting work for over 50 years. My lectures on business crime have been to members of police departments, GBI, FBI, Dept of Army Security Personnel, and Security Management personnel from many parts of the world. I helped the Atlanta Police Dept Crime Prevention Unit put together their first business crime seminar. I have also conducted numerous retail, manufacturing, and industry-specific seminars for management on areas of internal theft, drugs, safety, and violence in the workplace. My management consulting for the medium to larger organizations has improved communications, morale, productivity, and profits. I have also helped with community groups and metro Chambers of Commerce putting together seminars and educational programs.
