I'm a process coordinator with 8 years experience in IT at Athabasca University. In this role I handle the receipt, tracking, approval, and provide oversight to the implementation of enhancements to production systems. As well I manage departmental time-tracking, and manage IT projects where required. My passion in my work is simplifying the complex and finding the best route to tangible, realistic goals. Creating processes is like writing, if you can make the same point in a sentence that you would in a paragraph, use the sentence. As well, I am a long-standing representative on the Athabasca University Faculty Association where I currently serve as Secretary, and have been Chief Negotiator and Vice President. I am a passionate advocate for professional freedom and a healthy, productive working environment in all staff. The success of the institution is reliant on the success of its employees.I am a proud resident of Athabasca, Alberta and proud to serve the public good in post-secondary education.
