Responsible for the combat readiness of a company with emphasis on discipline, training, maintenance, logistics, morale, and esprit-de-corps as well as ensuring a safe and secure environment within the assigned area of operations spanning 110 kilometers. I was credited with developing a cohesive organization that cared for all assigned Soldiers as well as their Families. Managed and supervised the maintenance and accountability of over $91 million worth of government property and equipment.Highlights:• Maintained operational control of 110 Km area North West of Baghdad, Iraq• Eliminated insurgent attacks and activity within the Company’s AOR in a nine month period• Developed an detailed IED detection and recovery plan that eliminated coalition and civilian casualties with the Company’s AOR• Recognized by the MNCI and CENTCOM Commander for Command Excellence during combat operations OIF 06-08
