My research focused on creating and applying organic electronic devices for the targeted delivery of biolomolecules. For the first time, this technology was applied to plant biological systems to explore and enable electronic regulation of hormone gradients to plants resulting in the development of new tools and techniques for the investigation into the roll that such molecules and their chemical gradients play in plant systems.

Working with a cross-disciplinary, biology and nanomaterial research team, I contributed to fundamental studies of stem cell behavior grown on nanostructured surfaces.

The design, fabrication, and characterization of nanoporous optical coatings for optoelectronic devices such as Light Emitting Diodes and Solar Cells.
