I am working as a Content Specialist and Faculty for the Data Science and Engineering Vertical and my job includes updating content and making it more relevant for the learners. Based on my educational and industry experience I curate contents that are relevant and used in the industry. I also add a special class for the learners for end to end model deployment using Streamlit and Github. Recently I included CHAT GPT to deliver a coding platform that learners can use to practice and resolve their doubts instantly. I also co-authored a paper with my colleagues in June 2023, titled “Video Label Enhancing and Standardization through Transcription and WikiId Mapping Techniques” which was published in IEEE and can be accessed here . I am also involved in teaching Statistical Methods and Data Analytics in the weekend eMBA Classes at the PES University in Bangalore.

Working as Lead Data Scientist for an MNC in Bangalore in Fraud Analytics in developing machine learning and rule based models for clients in the US

In this assignment I was engaged as a Machine Learning Engineer for Client PayPal Corp in Chennai to develop a predictive analytics solution using supervised multi-class classification. PayPal has tough regulations and compliance policies in place which differ from country to country. In particular the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) has placed additional transaction limits for PayPal to operate in their country. PayPal’s pain point is to reduce the incidence of breach. To this effect I was tasked to build a classification machine learning model to predict customers who are likely to breach certain limits. The steps undertaken were: • Imported the relevant tables from Teradata • Did the basic Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)• Did the Feature Engineering• Did the Feature Selection• Built the prediction model in Scikit-Learn• Tested the model in Altus using Dockers• Tested the model using Postman • Deployed the model by scheduling PayPal notebooks• Automated the process of running the model live every 24 hours• Collecting every day’s prediction back into Teradata table for analysisProject Environment: Teradata, Anaconda, Python 3.7, Jupyter Notebooks

My main project was for a US Client called WASH Laundry. This company has their laundry services spread across 140,000 locations both in US and Canada. The main pain-point of this company was to improve their service quality by improving their first time fix rates. A first-time fix rate is basically the proportion of service calls that are successfully closed right at the first appointment itself. We provided them a Machine Learning Solution using a mix of Exploratory Data Analysis and Unsupervised Clustering Solution, whereby each location in each route were prescribed a 'Basket of Parts' which would be always available in the service truck. The aim was to improve the first-time fix rate.
