I served as subject matter expert for the creation of the company’s digital print strategy, production deployment and integration into business processes. Advised/consulted at plants and at all levels throughout the enterprise. Role also included extensive industry and marketplace research and developing SWOT analyses, e.g. competitive analysis on print quality, consumable yield, cost per page, total cost of ownership and ROI. Travelled worldwide on an extensive basis.Project Manager – Direct Mail Digital PrintQUAD/GRAPHICS, INC. – West Allis, Pewaukee, Wisconsin 2000 to 2008Selected as Project Manager for the design, integration and installation of custom, wide web high speed presses with in-line finishing capabilities, for accessing new direct mail markets. Role kept evolving with the recognition of emerging technologies, resulting in Direct Mail and Direct Marketing investments.Pre-2000: Career progression as a Business Area Manager – Imaging Customer Service/Account Management, Production Manager – Gravure Imaging and Prepress Operations Manager at Quad Graphics Lomira, Hartford and Sussex plants. Pre-1990: Early career progression as a Prepress Manager at Quad/Graphics, following serving as a Journeyman at Rand McNally Books Division. Have worked in union and non union environments.
