Constant and direct interaction with Executives and Line Managers across the SBG;Define the Group Investigations strategy and personally execute and control the strategy in the Priority Team’s particular area of responsibility spanning the financial crime investigation value chain. This includes:Setting strategic investigation outcomes – investigation planning; resource deployment; effective investigation structure and best practices for financial crime investigators.Monitoring investigation processes and remedial processes and alternative solution to address changing investigation mandate.Actively promote better practice methodologies for managing financial crime globally thus reducing the SBSA overall financial and reputational exposure to financial crime.Perpetually deliver value into financial crime group forums such as the Quarterly Financial Crime Control Committee, Group Audit Committee and Group Executive Committee.Manage Stakeholders to foster a strong relationship with Executive Management with regards to advising on improvements to the first line of defence from the findings of financial crime investigations;Manage any external forensic consultants on active investigations who may from time to time, be employed in respect of scope, objectives, deliverables, timeframes, reporting and cost;People Management relating to the effective resource selection for projects, sills reviewing and upskilling of team members. Take on the responsibility of coaching and mentoring of team. The recruitment, development and retention of team, based on a value based culture in line with bank values. Conduct performance management evaluations and participate in moderations forums and input for appropriate and consistent reward;Build and maintain Internal and External relationships with key stakeholders in Law Enforcement, Industry bodies and Forensic Consulting service providers.
