Austin, Texas Area

Responsibilities included providing Mission Integration leadership for this central Texas health system that includes the Seton Family of Hospitals (11 in-patient ministries), Clinical Practice Network, Seton Insurance Services, the development of a new medical school in partnership with the University of Texas opening in 2016, a new teaching hospital, Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas, opening in 2017; member of the Seton Healthcare Family Board, Mission and Ethics Committee of the Board, and Workplace Justice Committee of the Board; member of the Seton Executive Council; initiatives included developing and implementing the Mission Strategic and Operations Plan, Mission Measures of Success to measure Mission effectiveness within the organization, implemented an operational format throughout the Seton network to ensure consistency, integration and a comprehensive approach to the major elements of Mission Integration; provided leadership in the development of the program content and hosting of the Seton annual Healthcare Ethics Conference.

Jacksonville, Florida Area

Responsible to provide Mission Integration leadership for a health system that includes a 528 bed, 313 bed, and 68 bed acute care hospital (in development), as well as an existing 240 bed skilled nursing facility, physician practice network, and several other ministries. The Mission Council structure provides the mechanism to effect system wide Liturgy and Celebration, Formation and Education, Model Community, Clinical and Organizational Ethics, Community Benefit and Care of Persons Living in Poverty, and International Ministry. The Mission organizational structure includes the departments of Pastoral and Vincentian Services, Emergency Pregnancy Services, Community Health and Benefit, Mobile Health Outreach Ministry, Volunteer Services, Telecommunications, The Michael Davidson Overnight Center, Hospital Auxiliary, Community Ministries, Mission Services, and the Family Counseling Center.
