• Design and Implement enterprise class WiFi wireless networks.

• Designed and developed an enterprise-wide wireless LTE network. Optimized the existing Clearwire microwave backhaul network infrastructure to allow the rapid deployment of multi-vendor LTE network elements. • Developed, designed and supported the LTE wireless network through all phases. The initial design was built in the laboratory for network simulation. Extensive testing was executed on all network elements, supporting software applications, OTA field evaluation and ultimately live network deployment

• As lead engineer, developed an in-house network analysis tool to ensure Clearwire was meeting SLA standards with our customers. This project saved Clearwire an estimated $6,000,000 to $8,000,000 vs. using an external contractor for software development & deployment.• Created highly detailed design documentation for project development and deployment. These documents were used by all teams involved in the projects. Customers could reference these documents for their areas of responsibility, technical aspects, scheduling and various hardware & software requirements. • Lead Engineer for the 4G WiMAX application development team. Designed a software application that is used by WiMAX RF engineering teams, retail sales and customer support to determine the coverage areas of the WiMAX network.• Managed and maintained Windows & Linux virtual machines that are built on Cisco UCS hardware, NetApp storage arrays, VMware VCenter Server and ESXi hypervisor client software. This system allowed multiple development teams to test their portions of corporate enterprise projects in parallel, shortening project development and deployment schedules.

• Managed a team of engineers supporting the iDEN push-to-talk program, packet data and CALEA (Communication Assistance for Law Enforcement Act) systems in the Nextel Technology Lab• Configured and tested all dispatch system related hardware and software. The testing process included test strategy development, planning, test case documentation, execution and reporting. All software and hardware development for the push-to-talk activities of the Nextel Corporation came through the Nextel Technology Lab. Systems were verified end-to-end before they were allowed to be deployed into the operational network / customer impacting environment• Directly supported law enforcement agencies with Nextel’s development and testing of the Push-to-Talk system's compatibility with CALEA

• iDEN dispatch engineer responsible for testing push-to-talk hardware, server, database software and mobile device software for compatibility with the push-to-talk feature• Responsible for server & network equipment software upgrades and method-of-procedure validation and testing

• Test engineer assigned to the Sprint test labs in Reston, extensive hardware and software testing to prepare for the Y2K scenario• Experienced testing Cisco 15K routers, Nortel Passport ATM switches.
