Supervise a team of three accountants.  Coordinate allocation updates across all parts of the enterprise with Business Finance Officers and executives in areas such as Technology, Marketing, Digital & Client Experience, and Nuveen.  Led the TIAA enterprise cost allocation process associated with the sale of TIAA Bank in July 2023, and the establishment of a new TIAA Trust legal entity as a result of the sale.  Facilitate the review of allocation results at the product level with the TIAA Actuarial Group.  Responsible for ensuring compliance with all key control activities, internal audits, and external audits.  Facilitated all aspects of the multi-year transition from an activity-based cost allocation system to one focused on independent business group allocation calculations.o CREF Cost Allocations and CREF Oversight Committee Communications Facilitate the CREF allocation process focused on ensuring at cost treatment and adherence to legal agreements.  Present projected CREF allocated expenses, allocation methodologies, rate vs. budget impacts at quarterly CREF Oversight Committee meetings.o TIAA Regulation W Compliance Officer  Responsible for all TIAA Enterprise Regulation W activities as it relates to transactions with TIAA Bank and TIAA Trust, N.A. o Intercompany Agreement Management and Project Facilitation  Facilitate the completion of the annual Intercompany Agreement (ICA) Repository certification process to meet TIAA’s obligations under NY Insurance Regulation 115.
