-Primary advisor to the Battery Commander for all matters pertaining to howitzer employmentand operations. -Supervised and assisted in the onload/offload of six M777A2 howitzers, six 7-ton primemovers, and all associated SL-3 gear in preparation for Battery I's deployment aboard theUSS Peleliu and operations conducted ashore in Kuwait in support of BLT 2/5, 15th MEU.-Planned and supervised the safe movement of five howitzers and all associated SL-3 gear toand from the Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range and the National Training Center,totaling over 600 miles in preparation for a WESTPAC deployment with the 15th MEU.-Successfully planned, supervised, and executed the local security for the battery duringScorpion FIREX 01-08 conducted aboard the Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range,California, and Operation Eager Mace 01-08 conducted aboard the Udari Range, Kuwait.-Successfully served as Battery 1stSgt and Battery Gunnery Sergeant while deployed to theNational Training Center in Fort Irwin, California.

-Responsible for training a entry level students in each course of the program of instruction per cycle on basic cannon knowledge and operation.-Prepare and conduct classroom instruction and practical application in the field.-Conduct first echelon maintenance and accountability of all equipment under his charge and maintain in an operational capacity to include the M198 and M777 howitzers with all SL-3gear, 5-ton prime mover, M94 muzzle velocity system, and M100 series optical sights.-Provide counseling and critiques to students based on their performance.-Administer end of block exams.-Perform collateral duties as Academics SNCO responsible for the accurate tracking and documentation of student performance evaluations and test scores according to the MarineCorps Cannon Crewman Course (MCCCC) Standard Operation Procedures.-Responsible for the accountability and serviceability of all the instructor's training aids required for use during formal classroom instruction and field exercises.
