★ Most recently, I was a Software Developer employed by QHR Technologies Inc. My experience there was invaluable, having touched everything from infrastructure as code, HL7 FHIR interoperability, and backend code solutioning using many scripting and coding languages. With my passion in healthcare solutions, my favorite experience was becoming a subject matter expert in HL7 FHIR, teaching about its structure and uses, and helping support other teams as they developed solutions using this interoperable healthcare data structure.★ I excel at developing knowledge and application of software design and development across various platforms, database implementation, modelling and conducting software related troubleshooting. Together with demonstrating a strong work ethic, I display a great desire to develop professionally, learn new concepts and apply them to effect positive change. ★ Having worked as a Registered Practical Nurse in a number of fast-paced health care settings has developed within me several soft skills which I believe will be of great importance in any work environment. These skills include: - Ability to communicate effectively, translate ideas, convey information clearly and relate well with others through active listening, honesty, professionalism, and humour when fitting; the keys to building and maintaining effective working relationships. - Collaboration, including being able to work as part of a cross-functional productive team, encourage, motivate and bring out the best in others. - Strong organization skills, including the ability to plan and monitor progress of work to ensure that deadlines and targets are met ✦ As a resourceful person, I am able to creatively resolve issues and problems in the work environment, improve inefficient processes and systems and make well-informed decisions.
