Worked as a member of a cross functional Marketing team providing BASF solutions to Consumer Food Packaging customers in North America. Products included extrudable / moldable nylon, biodegradable and bio-sourced polymers, pigments, inks, plastics additives, coatings and dispersions for paper and plastics films, and adhesives for adhesive laminations at converters.

Supported sales and production at 3 plants as a Technical Product Manager, with focus on multilayer blown sealant films, monolayer – 9 layer. Also developed innovative new film structures for existing and new customers, primarily within North America.

Responsible for specifying and selling German based Plast-Control extrusion process management technology equipment and control software to major US blown film manufacturing operations.

Built and trained new venture team consisting of 6 professionals and 6 technicians to transfer Italian technology, low pressure Spherilene linear polyethylene Process to the USA. Team consisted of new hires and internal transfers.Supervised successful development of 3 new blown film grades to fill capacity of new, 440 million Ib. plant located In Louisiana, qualifying selected customers to consume the volumePresident's Award R&D nomination, 1993, for the Spherilene effort.

Planned, coordinated construction and managed start-up of new plastics processing laboratory, including equipment selection and installation, establishment of work procedures and training Managed 7 engineers and 19 technicians. Developed 5 new products for 3 European markets for thin wall injection molding and for BOPP, amounting to 15,000 metric tons annual volume.
