I grew up in a military family and served myself. I worked health care and postal service. I've trained martial arts and studied eastern thought/philosophy.I see a deep correlation between western counseling theory and eastern thought. I use mindfulness in a variety of ways in my practice and help clients learn ways to seek their own answers. As a counselor, I've worked with people from 5 to 85 and a variety of different cultures. I see the individual before me, rely on them to know their culture and treat them with the dignity and respect I'd like to be treated with.
