Prior to beginning my carreer in architecture, I worked for four years as a project manager for a Chicago custom residential contractor. Since then, I have accumulated fifteen years of professional architectural experinece in the design of custom residential, small commercial, higher education, research and medical facilities. I am currently licensed to practice architecture in the states of Indiana, Illinois and New York. My professional interest is in the built environment as living habitat rather than as inanimate sculpture. My goals are to explore design concepts that are in balance with their context, symbiotically fitted to their inhabitants, and co-evolutionary with their human organisms. I seek to create built environments that are inter-active, adaptable, sustainable and dynamic.Specialties: Planning and design of laboratories, classrooms, lecture space, multi-media spaces, vivaria, imaging spaces, electro-magnetically & radiologically sheilded spaces, controlled environemt rooms & medical offices.
