Senior Industrial Hygienist assigned to Fleet Support Division. one of two Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Registry System Service Level Administrators for USN. Represent NMCPHC on DoD and BUMED symposiums and working groups for Industrial Hygiene, DOEHRS, Occupational and Environmental Health (OEH), Comprehensive Health Surveillance (CHS), Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record (ILER) Nano-technology, Shipbuilding Beryllium and other heavy metals, and NAVSEA SSRAC. Conduct research and respond to queries regarding potential industrial and environmental exposures at installations and facilities. Review Federal standards and policies, research and develop response to such policies. Assist in review, development of agency standards and policies. Conduct research in to emergent issues/ time sensitive OSH related issues.

Managed Directorate of more than 20 people in seven departments and subspecialties that included Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Preventive Medicine, Infection Control, Health Promotions, and Immunizations. Inaddition, provide SME guidance in Industrial Hygiene to an additional 15 employees. Directly responsible for providing Public Health support to four Naval Installations and supported commands with a total workforce over 22,000, as well as related health services for family memebers and other authorized beneficiaries.
