I am an enrollment management specialist and former Associate Registrar with 15+ years of experience in higher education, supporting university admissions and registrar departments. I am passionate about making the higher education enrollment process as accessible as possible to students from all walks of life. I myself was a first generation college student, which has guided my career path. I am especially avid about the technical side of enrollment management, improving and maintaining student information systems, and creating efficient processes for my department that streamline registration, and ultimately set students and staff up for success. While others might find complex mandatory reports tedious, I love getting to finetune the data, and ensuring myself and my team are good stewards of student information at the highest level.Systems that I know well include: Ellucian Banner, Degree Works, Ad Astra Scheduling Software, Parchment, and PeopleSoft. I am actively pursuing my Oracle SQL certification.Other skills include: Microsoft Office & Excel, FERPA compliance, team leadership, transfer articulation, transcript evaluation, GPA/GPD calculation, degree audits, National Student Clearinghouse reports, state coordinating board reporting, managing university space utilization & efficiency scores, and end of term processing.
