The National Manager Strategic HR Partnering provides proactive and responsive customer-centred support and advice to key stakeholders across the organisation via a strategic HR business partnering model, coaching managers to be empowering people leaders.

My current role at the University supports the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering (STEM portfolio) with particular emphasis on engagement with the Deans and Faculty General Managers to provide strategic HR advice and services. Some of the achievements thus far have included:• Management of the Fair Work Act casual conversion process for the portfolio delivered on time with the legislative requirements• Leading a project team to unify the Academic Performance and Development process across the University, with implementation commencing in September this year• Supporting the Faculty of Science to respond to a Fair Work Ombudsman notice to produce, involving employment and other records from 2014 to current

In this senior leadership role I was responsible for a team of HR Partners supporting the Faculty of Medicine and Health and I led strategic initiatives that supported significant organisational progress and cultural change including but not limited to:• leading four large University change programs that reached implementation phase in 2020 including the School of Medical Sciences, a program that has fundamentally changed the academic structure and functioning of education and research in the School• Implementation of the FMH engagement plan and Executive Dashboard• Implementation support of the HR Operating Model and Foundations Program

Some key achievements in my role as Senior HR Partner supporting the Faculty of Medicine and Health included:• Implementation of the Biomedical Science Change Program and relocation from Cumberland campus to Camperdown campus 2019• Partner in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Operating Model and Professional Staff Change Program• Peer contributor and reviewer of the University of Sydney submission for the Science in Australia Gender Equity, Athena Swan bronze citation• Member of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Equity and Diversity Committee

The Workforce Diversity Project Officer is responsible for leading and implementing the University's workforce diversity initiatives including the coordination of the Workforce Diversity Reference Group. The position plays a key role in positively impacting challenges faced by segments of the workforce and will undertake research of best practices as well as analysis of organisational data to develop strategic priorities for implementation. The role is the primary project resource leading the University's involvement in the Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) pilot project of Athena SWAN in Australia.

Directors will lead by example and set high benchmarks for excellence and performance as role models for all employees and franchisees.Directors are expected to work in the business, in particular covering store management and business operations. Partners are expected to promote the business and develop leads for potential franchisees and to contribute to the development and implementation of longer term strategic plans and annual business plans.
