Develop Wet pet food Quality and food safety strategy. As a member of the staff within the region, the position is responsible to implement all quality systems, assure effective change management and drive continuous process improvement. As the primary R&D representative for the region, the position has shared accountability to support research projects in raw materials, product development and process improvements

Develop Mars Petcare, Quality and Food Safety strategy. Ensure Quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are understood and rolled out with expected outcome understood. Roll out daily quality panels to all sites. Address immediate food safety concerns. Oversee quality systems for all Pet food plants and establish standards across the network. To build a strong Quality and Food Safety team that is highly engaged, and develop an internal technical succession plan. Accountable to build and maintain competence growth and technical expertise within the areas of quality and Food Safety. Direct Reports (5 Quality and Food Safety managers and 1 Audit program manager)

1.Responsible for the regional Q&FS Strategy (based on Masterfoods standards) and the development, implementation and maintenance of robust Quality systems like ISO 9001/2000 and HACCP.2.Lead the development of operational self-sufficiency.3.Accountable for Hold/Release management and management of PRIMP (Product Related Incident Managment Process) in collaboration with the Site management team; representing R&D in site crisis mgmt team.4.Support Flawless Execution of all technical changes on the Site which potentially impacts KQAs, Food Safety and Legal Product parameters. 5.Support Implementation of new Products, Recipes and processes up to achieving Self-Sufficiency.6.Responsible for the Site continuous improvement Plan.7.Lead, organise and prepare Quality reviews (e.g. SQM).8.Manage all product and primes Q&FS exceptions incl. handling all technical aspects of consumer complaints.9.Regional accountability for external quality management, e.g. warehouse audits.10.Manage and communicate all product quality, food safety and legislative exceptions; Contact for product legal compliance issues.11.Responsible for the communication and implementation of global quality initiatives and standards within the entire Effemex region.12. Direct reports: 1 Quality Manager for Greenies U.S.A. & 1 Regional Project Manager, U.S.A & Canada .Achievements: •Building a 5-year Quality strategy for the Greenies business. •Quickly assessing current situation and tackling all food safety concerns first. •Developed and rolled out Micro Testing Standards. •Put a proposal for a Greenies Quality organization that is both cost effective and set to deliver the global and business objectives. •Developed and validated Sanitation procedures improving sanitation swab results by 80% zero safety incidents. •Development of Consumer contact reporting and tracking system.

: To establish food safety systems and implement accordingly that ensured product quality and established change management procedures that fit the Canadian businesses and ensured new product launch success. The position is responsible to implement all quality systems, assure effective change management and drive continuous improvement. The position has accountability for process improvement as it impacts the food safety and product quality at the sites. Reporting directly to the NA Pet Food Quality Director with dotted line responsibility to Canadian Product Supply Director. Supervise 5 directly (2 Quality Scientists/Managers & 3 Technicians – 1 Regulatory, 1 SPC/Micro & Holds Management and 7 Technical Service Team members.

Responsible for Quality, Logistics, Purchasing and Planning. Member of the Site senior leadership team. Developed Clorox Quality Assurance key concepts for quality. Set strategic plans for the quality journey and set both long term and short-term goals. Reported directly to the Plant Manager and dotted line to the North American Glad Quality Director, U.S.A. Supervised 5 directly (1 Procurement Manager, 1 Logistics Manager, 1 Planning Manager & 1 Quality & Packaging Manager) and 6 indirectly (4 Quality Technicians & 2 Material Technicans)
