I lead a team of lawyers and legal professionals who serve as exceptional product counsel, partnership counsel, commercial counsel, and sales team counsel across Airbnb's accommodations marketplace. I directly support senior leadership and executives and lead legal efforts to grow and manage a complex global business. I've helped lead support for Airbnb's four largest acquisitions and their subsequent integrations, as well as provided product and strategic counseling to a wide array of product and operational teams. I work closely with product management, engineering, design, marketing, content strategy, public policy, operations, and other stakeholders to bring new products and features to markets around the globe. Once launched, I support and manage licensing, legal and compliance issues, and regulatory issues to help meet business objectives. I'm responsible for counseling on a wide range of legal issues, such as consumer protection, privacy (inc. GDPR), security, pricing, licensing, and marketing, in order to to drive business goals. In addition to serving on our Leadership Team and Diversity Committee, I also sit on our Policy Development Council, supporting the creation of sound internal and external policies for legitimizing the value of Airbnb globally, and addressing the concerns of users, community stakeholders, the public, and media.

Gaingels investments span many industries and I am available to invest, advise, and provide counsel to Gaingels and its portfolio companies, especially in the technology, biotechnology, and retail industries. Served as in-house legal counsel in the Software Products Law group at Apple, with specific emphasis as the global Product Counsel for Apple's iCloud product and infrastructure, as well as data localization efforts worldwide. I helped bring Apple's products to a global market, counseling teams in engineering, product marketing, user-interface, privacy, and security on virtually all issues across the product lifecycle. This involves negotiation and counseling of content and licensing transactions, advising on acquisitions and integration, and counseling on privacy, data and systems security, commercial law and regulatory requirements, open source code, and cloud-based and software licensing issues around the globe. I led deals involving global expansion for both product and infrastructure and counsel in response to changing legal and regulatory environments worldwide. I was the lead lawyer for our cloud services customer-facing products and our global cloud storage infrastructure internally. From a products perspective, I advised on products including iCloud Photo Library, iCloud Drive, Find My iPhone, Find My Friends, Activation Lock, Apple's iCloud based HIPAA compliant healthcare offering, Apple's iCloud education offering, and more. I worked directly with internal clients of all management levels, leading a team that supports a wide range of technology transactions, including in-bound and out-bound software licensing and hardware and other equipment purchases, professional services procurement, and content licenses. Additionally, I lived and worked in London for Apple, focusing on EMEIA related issues and deals, and have extensive experience speaking with regulators on product, privacy, security, and data localization issues in Apple's largest global markets.
