Nawara And South Tunisia

Client representative on the NAWARA South Tunisia Gas Development Central Process Facility. Attending daily schedule, planning and progress meetings with contractors. Attending joint contractor/client QA inspections and tri-party walk downs for system MC and handover to commissioning.Supporting and improving team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.Updating completion system data base in alignment with punch list clearance.Preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.Supervision of local commissioning technicians performing commissioning duties. Implementing and supporting effective working practices and systems as required to continuously improve product delivery. All work completed to a high standard and working within the ISSOW permit system and safe working with no incidents or accidents.Responding promptly and effectively to changing circumstances, planning for contingencies and managing conflicting priorities.

Ghana

I was the shutdown E & I supervisor on Tullow operated KNK FPSO MV21. Supervising many expat and local E & I personnel. During the shutdown planning stage, I was responsible for work pack preparation to PTW originator and safe execution of projects from kick off meetings to MC, commissioning, sign off and handover.Excellent communication skills at all levels while remaining dedicated to ensuring understanding of company requirements and procedures. Ensuring quality assurance of all work scopes are maintained, and all work is performed in accordance with company policies and the health and safety at work act. Working flexibly to accommodate the changing needs of the business; working long hours and taking on additional responsibilities.

Working on a major new recycling project in Glasgow. Carrying out pre-commissioning/commissioning activities on, LV systems, MCC switchboards, pumps, motors, control panels, soft start relays, UPS systems, LTG and small power.

Iraq

Working on the construction of a new 25MW FRAME 5 MKVI Gas Turbine Power Plant, TEG dehydration units and various rental compressor units on both Brownfield and Greenfield projects throughout Iraq. Overseeing, supervising constructing, advising and accepting overall electrical and instrument installation carried out by contractors and vendors, carrying out inspections and witnessing hold points, testing and commissioning procedures, system walk downs and RFSU. Responsible for all contractors and vendors on site ensuring they were adhering to procedures, executing quality plans and following HSE procedures. Preparing of work packs, ITPs and all completion dossiers.

Working on the BP operated Chirag platform in the Caspian Sea.Supervising a team of Ex Inspectors and Electricians to carry out detailed ATEX inspections and punch list rectification work in hazardous areas. Raising PTWs, liaising with area authorities for isolations, creating inspection work packs, compiling EX register on EXCEL database, coordinating detailed inspections and repairs, punch list verifying and completions.

Managing teams of Ex inspectors carrying out detailed ATEX Ex inspections and teams of electricians carrying out punch list rectification work in hazardous areas. Other duties as in role above.

Working on Shell/PDO operated oil and gas facilities throughout the desert in Oman. Carrying out close and detailed ATEX Ex inspections on electrical and instrumentation equipment in hazardous areas identifying unsuitable equipment for classified areas. Reports and recommendations were prepared and presented to the client. All remedial and rectification works were then carried out. Involved in the installation of new compressor and export pump skids, assisting the vendor with commissioning and start up.

Bonga Fpso

Part of a maintenance team on board the Shell operated Bonga FPSO. Day to day maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment including, turbines, compressors, HV/LV switchgear, UPS systems, lighting, small power, HVAC, fire & gas, PA/GA and ESD systems and BMS and DCS control systems. Part of a new works team overseeing installation work and then carrying out commissioning procedures.
