David draws from over 20 years’ experience as a town planner in South East Queensland. He is a Director of Zone Planning Group, where he is involved in multiple facets of the company, including development applications, project strategy & advice, due diligence investigations, project management and facilitation, strategic planning, policy development and expert evidence. His previous role as Senior Planning Manager at the Sunland Group involved coordinating and securing approvals for Sunland's various projects in SEQ. Prior to that David performed a role as a Gold Coast Principal at Cardno HRP, and was a former Director of Humphreys Reynolds Perkins Gold Coast. David enjoyed seven years at the Gold Coast City Council in both strategic and statutory town planning capacities before moving into the private sector. In private practice, David has worked on a variety of residential, commercial and mixed-use development proposals ranging from greenfield subdivisions to large mixed-use tower developments, retail shopping centres and Apartment projects. David also provides expert evidence in the Planning and Environment Court. David is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia, a Fellow of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and immediate past President of the UDIA Gold Coast Logan Branch.
