My Learning & Development experience is extensive and diverse. I have been designing and delivering training for over 25 years. My experience covers my last 11 of 22 years within the Royal Air Force and from leaving the military in 2007 to today with Exela. The designing of training interventions and then its delivery by face to face, webinar or e-learning are all skills that I hold. The use of e-learning is particularly critical in my current role as the 2,300 personnel I support are based across 13 countries across EMEA. Ensuring that the courses are also suitable for a specific country and complies with local practices and laws and in a suitable language is a complex but satisfying aspect of this unique role.My interventions ensure that all business critical needs are achieved in a timely and financially astute manner. Sourcing external specialist training when required to offer excellent ROI is essential.I am CIPD qualified in both L&D and HR and use my diverse experience, both from work and life in general to deliver a top quality service which meets the needs of the individual, the client and Exela.

In addition to ensuring that all mandatory compliance training is designed, delivered and results recorded, I also deliver targeted management and role specific training.Training delivery is a mixture of e-learning and classroom style training. Our in-house designed e-learning platform (LYNX) enables for rapid deployment of learning in multiple languages, essential for a diverse company like Exela. The development of the e-learning content is one of my key roles and the design and uploading of the content on to the LYNX platform is a critical element to ensuring that all Exela's personnel needs are achieved.Specific L&D interventions, when identified, are quickly assessed and actions taken to appropriately respond to there circumstances. Face to face, Webinar or e-learning options are examined to identify the best solution(s) and the training is then designed to fulfil and exceed expectations.I am a good communicator and my close links with the HR teams across EMEA is vital. I deliver management training as part of the Exela Management University program which incorporates training for all levels of management within the business.
