David has over 10 years’ experience working in both Australia and Indonesia in providing assurance services to clients in the mining, energy, and oil and gas sectors. David has significant experience leading complex global engagements and substantial practical experience with the Australian and Indonesian mining industry including time operating at remote sites. David has also worked and lived in Indonesia and applies the learning from this time to deliver value and insights to his clients. David has also diversified his experience base through delivering due diligence projects, client secondments and accounting advisory projects.

David was based in Jakarta for two and a half years, working predominately with the local mining and oil and gas industry. During his time in Indonesia David worked with several large local listed coal companies as well as local gold miners. David managed large teams to deliver assurance to his clients in a complex developing market. During this time spent in country, David developed an understanding and appreciation of Asian business culture as well as the local regulatory and social environment.
