Senior Field Service Engineer IV located in Chicago. Managing installations and service in a 12 state area working with US Customs. Resolved service issues of previous techs. A Treasury BI (background investigation) was performed and renewed in 2012 for access to Top-Secret documents. Responsible for NII (non-intrusive inspection) equipment (primarily x-ray related) and also supported other regions across the US and Canada as needed. Specialized factory training with AS&E (American Science and Engineering) for several models of x-ray equipment and numerous classes related to the assigned contract and radiation safety. Regional Service Manager under the direction of the National Service Manager, responsible for the overall management of the customer service function in the North Central Region (1 of 7 regions) for Glory USA, a Japanese-owned cash-handling equipment manufacturer. The position had 4 direct subordinate staff (District Managers), 16 indirect subordinates (Service Technicians), and 3 administrative staff members within the organizational unit. The annual operating budget was over 1.5 million dollars and responsible for generating over 2 million dollars annually.Bonus compensation based on increasingly higher revenue generation was earned quarterly.Effective customer service and sales relationships were maintained and grown with Glory clients in the banking, casino, and retail fields.Stabilized a revolving door history among service technicians through training, evaluating and employing motivational management practices.Promoted subordinates to other regions as managers and specialists.Profitable wholesale changes to customer equipment were performed multiple times with new dollar bill designs from the Federal Reserve.Cost-saving factory modifications were implemented based on local feedback.Rewarded with Service Manager of the Year in 2003 with a resulting trip (for 2) to Japan.

Columbus, Ohio Area

Operations Manager after a promotion from Service Manager. This position was for a local authorized dealer for Toshiba, Mita, Fujitsu, and Brother office equipment. Responsible for human resources, payroll, training, IT support, and all other adjunct functions related to sales and service efforts. Reported directly to the President/Owner.

Elk Grove Village, Il

 Regional Technical Representative supporting the dealers in the Midwest area. This position included a rotational factory training responsibility to train dealer technicians in the Dallas, TX. National training center as needed. Most other travel was performed by car within the territory. Other regions were also supported as requested for installations of major accounts and service.
