Assist sales and engineering in pre-order and initial order phase.In pre-order phase I am primarily assisting the sales team with sizing/selection of components, advanced design and engineering, and conceptual layout work. In initial order phase I am assisting with project kickoff packages to various internal departments (design, purchasing, and engineering). I generate bill of materials, P&IDs, construction requirements, and provide critical support on a number of first documentation submittals.

As a project engineer at Lube Power I was the main point of contact after receipt of purchase order for engineering and project management activities. My responsibilities included; sizing and selecting components, generating critical customer submittal drawings/documents (bill of materials, electrical layouts, P&ID, inspection and test plan, test procedure, etc.), providing layout and concept for general arrangement drawing generation, reviewing customer specifications to generate fabrication specifications to release to internal production team members, supported internal and customer design reviews, supported prefabrication and pre-inspection meetings, supported and coordinated inspections with ASME inspectors on pressure vessels, supported and coordinated electrical inspections of equipment through authorized inspection agencies (CSA, IECex, EEHA, etc.), supported recurring status meeting with customers and Lube Power management/ownership, triggered invoices to customers in accordance with contractual requirements, and supported project inspection and close out activities.

At Branson my duties included the following:Quote Phase:(1) Part data evaluation for feasibility for the multitude of processes that Branson supports. These processes include, but are not limited to: (a) Vibration Welding (b) Clean Vibration Welding (c) Hot Plate Welding (d) Spin Welding (e) Laser Welding (f) Ultrasonic Welding (g) Thermal Staking (h) Thermal Insertion(2) Pending part data evaluation I then have an integral role in the quotation process for a given program. This includes gathering costs and timing, from various company interfaces, that help to establish the sell prices for customer quotations. I also am a lead co-author on the quote as within the quote feasibility statements are provided, design change recommendations are provided, tooling/equipment requirements are defined, tooling/equipment options/features are outlined, and customer specification compliance matrices are presented.Program Phase:(1) Once a customer has issued a Purchase Order for a quote, I then become the lead project manager for the effort. For multiple projects that fall under the same customer program I am defined as the program manager.(2) As project manager I develop, conduct, or submit the following to internal Branson personnel: (a) Purchase requisitions (b) Program budgets (c) Program schedules (d) Program timelines to meet customer commitments (e) Internal Design Reviews(3) As project manager I develop, conduct, or submit the follow to the customer: (a) Program schedules (b) Design Reviews (c) Tooling and/or equipment run-off and tryout (d) Necessary paperwork to ship tooling and/or equipment to the customer facility(4) At the conclusion of a project I assemble and update all documentation on the program as needed for storage
