David Richards is a second generation director of Richards, Moorehead & Laing Ltd (RML) and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company or Water Conservators. A graduate of Mathematics and Astronomy, David is involved in a number of diverse enterprises including the use of vegetation in slope stabilisation and the design of concrete skateparks. RML is a multi-disciplined consultancy with long involvement in the study of Japanese Knotweed including work for the Welsh Development Agency. With this work RML won the inaugural Landscape Institute awards back in 1993 in the Research and President’s categories.
