The TMC Emergency Department has 45 beds separated into pods and patients are assigned in pods based on acuity. We follow the Canadian Triage Scale. We take care of a variety of patients such as sore throats, abdominal pains, headaches, DKA, difficulty breathing, chest pain, brain bleeds, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest and much more. We are the second.
