Over 35 years experience in electronics repair. In 1981, right out of technical school, I got a job assembling arcade style video games. From there I was hired into the vending business where I learned to repair video games, monitors, pinball machines, jukeboxes, candy and drink machines and pool tables. Got a part time job repairing games at an arcade at a mall. Met a couple of guys, while still working my full time and part time jobs, who hired me to repair games on the side. The next thing I know I had a garage full of arcade games needing repair or a new game kit installed. After 8 years in the vending industry the next 20 years were spent in the computer industry. I repaired a wide variety of computers, monitors, printers, and terminals. Did failure analysis on server motherboards for Dell, got laid off and then hired by 2 of Dell's suppliers doing failure analysis for them in the same lab at Dell. The whole time in the computer industry I still did side repairs on video games and pinballs. In 2011 I was hired as a Technical Manager at Chuck E. Cheese's. After 6 years there I accepted my new position as a Senior Technician at Pinballz Arcade.
