Responsibilities include: -Develop design concepts, calculations, layouts, assemblies, pneumatic & hydraulic schematics, ventilation layouts, and detail drawings in accordance with OSHA, NIOSH and applicable codes. Create associated bills of material.-Review sales orders, customer specifications, and related documents to ensure the design meets customer requirements.-Prepare required forms including: purchasing specifications and requisitions, partial/final/revision releases, customer adjustments, approval prints, certified prints, and other forms required by ISO procedures and work instructions. -Interact with the supply chain and field representatives to resolve design related issues including traveling onsite to verify design fit up and requirements. Collaborate with electrical engineers on the application and operation of specific designs.-Coordinate and interface with other departments to affect solutions including providing technical assistance to sales or customers, and updating or improving past designs to facilitate completion of customer orders.
