Manager Logistics Support, Calgary National Logistics CentreSears Canada 2001 - Aug 2015Calgary, AlbertaI was responsible for the support functions of a 622,000 sq ft distribution facility that employed up to 300 associates. This facility distributed merchandise to Sears locations throughout Western Canada, from Vancouver Island to Western Ontario. I was responsible for managing the P&L and controlling all expenses. -

It was a conversion from an Eatons store to a Sears store. I oversaw the hiring of 10 salaried managers and 250 associates. I was responsible for the merchandising and the opening of the store. After the opening I applied for the Operations Manager at the Calgary National Logistics Centre, the job title was later changed to Manager Logistics Support.
