As Account Manager I was responsible for the corporate relationship between CiC and 35 clients from the private, public and third sectors. Working closely with HR departments I would regularly meet to review the service, providing feedback through reports and resolving and issues as they arose. I would regularly be onsite promoting the Employee Assistance Programme to employees with audiences ranging from 5 to 130. I was responsible for increasing contract values by upselling a range of additional products such as learning and development, critical incident and mediation services.Another key aspect of my work was business development, where I worked closely with my Business Director on tenders and proposals. I was the first point of contact for all inbound enquiries and would take new business from initial contact to contract launch. We enjoyed a great deal of success and brought in many new clients. CiC gave me a good grounding in the world of work. I developed strong account management and relationship building skills. I successfully contributed to and led business development projects including writing tenders and proposals, presenting sales pitches and negotiation. I worked with a fantastic team who I enjoyed collaborating with on numerous projects and events, making use of my administration and organisation skills. I feel very fortunate to have started my career at CiC. I have left with a broad set of skills that I am keen to further develop throughout my career.
