Canada West

As a Vitamix product expert and demonstrator I was responsible for sales of Vitamix at events all over the west coast as well as Costco roadshows. As product expert I learned everything about the brand that I was representing and would use this knowledge to give product demos to crowds ranging from five to one hundred. I was responsible for logistics of assets, liaising with event contacts, booth setups, inventory controls and making sure that my potential customers are engaged and excited.

Vancouver, Bc

West Coast Chipwich is a small food trailer operating in the Vancouver BC area, focusing on serving our customers delicious artisan ice cream sandwiches. As owner and creator I took this business from concept to operation, duties included: concept/recipe creation, government agency compliance, physical build of trailer, marketing/digital marketing/social media, hiring/training of staff, logistics, and a whole lot of troubleshooting and problem solving. This successful business operated at events. fairs and also did private catering. In this role I learned not only the myriad of things required to get a business up and running but also the dedication and passion needed to be successful.

Canada Wide

In this role I was responsible for all facets of our Canadian tour promoting the green cleaning brand Mrs Meyers. The tour had been run in the US but this was their first foray into Canada. With my exceptional knowledge of the country and major cities I planned and set up all logistics, as well as actually operated the tour from the ground level. Becoming a product expert I worked closely with my brand ambassadors ensuring that they were knowledgeable and excited about this product. Progress reports and media (photos and video) were captured and presented by myself to all stakeholders. I took on tracking all budgetary concerns as well as ensuring compliance with local laws and policies.Reporting to the Director of production we were able to have a very successful tour with strong metrics outperforming what was initially expected.

Canada West

As district manager I handled 4 teams from Manitoba to British Columbia promoting the Tim Horton's Coffee for Communities program. Managing four In-Field managers with staffs of 10-15 per team I ensure that this year round program has excellent activations that not only raise funds for local charities but also showcase the client's brand in a positive light. Responsibilities including scheduling, hiring/staffing/training, coordinating with client representatives as well as event organizers all over western Canada. In addition to this vehicle/asset upkeep and logistics, budgeting, reporting and event photography are also key factors to my role.

Mississauga

As national tour manager for the Dr. Oetker brand tour I was responsible for all facets of a 3 month on road tour spanning the country from Toronto to Vancouver. Responsibilities included logistics/route planning, budget balancing, staff training/moral, record keeping, liaising with event contacts, upkeep of vehicle/trailer, problem solving and ensuring a rise in sampling numbers over past tours.

Toronto, Canada Area

Part time gig. Huge sports fan so enjoyed getting to interact with like minded fans in a great environment. Responsibilities included visiting fans/season seat holders during games (leafs/raptors/TFC) and getting feedback on their experience. All information would be recorded, report written and then passed on to management. Would do our best to ensure the perfect fan experience every time.

Ontario, Canada

As event manager I was responsible for our client, McDonald's, experiential event activations across Ontario. My role included: scheduling of events, logistics, hiring/training of team members, liaising with client and franchisee stakeholders, operation and upkeep of assets, creating a warm and inviting environment for clients. This role taught me great problem solving skills as well as time management and enhanced my ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment. We successfully increased sampling numbers year over year.
