Additionally, responsible for the operations, staff, and activities of the City's Aquifer Protection, Cross Connection Control, and Water Quality Laboratory programs.

Lead technical professional for the evaluation, design, and construction of various private and municipal utilities infrastructure, including potable water, sanitary sewer, reclaimed water, and stormwater facilities. Mentor to junior engineers and interns new to the profession.Specialties include focused alternatives evaluations for municipal utilities; pump station design; Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Surveys (SSES), including initial investigation, pilot testing, evaluation, and implementation of rehabilitation methods; and pipeline rehabilitation methods, including slip-lining, pipe bursting, and pipe splitting.

Scientific Diving Program - Dive Safety Officer responsible for the oversight, operation, and diving safety of approximately 25 scientists and engineers as an Organizational Member of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences. Developed and maintained the diving saftey manual, dive logs, medical records, and diving statistics.As a scientific diver, projects included coral reef monitoring, mapping, corridor assessment, restoration, impact assessment, and mitigation. Also involved on a limited basis with seagrass transplants.As a working diver, projects included non-destructive inspection and evaluation of underwater pipelines, piers, docks and bulkheads.
