Hagemeyer is making name change we are now called Vallen once again. After acquiring IDG the process of bringing the two companies together has culminated in a name change to Vallen. The branding around this new name will bring two companies with strong backgrounds in supply chain management. We will continue developing and selling solutions as our approach to marketing Vallen. As a Master Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Supply Chain Management Professional, my goal is to work with companies to improve their supply chain and identify cost savings opportunities. Working through Vallen, a global supplier of products and services, we focus on business-to-business solutions and cost reductions for indirect spend. Our markets include electrical materials, safety products, Industrial MRO products and services. Hagemeyer and I work to delight customers with an increase in efficiency and visibility to their Supply Chain. In the United Sates companies spend more than $1 trillion every year on transportation, warehousing, distribution and associated inventory management. The responsibilities for managing that spend falls squarely on the shoulders of supply chain professionals. Striving for and providing a positive effect to the components of a supply chain helps create documented cost saving opportunities.
