My work with Parametric Studio involves conceptualizing, developing, and testing multiple products in their line of gamified educational software. Most of our products are built in the Unity game engine using C#. Some of my projects involved:- Procedural mesh generation and UV mapping- Real-time simulation of user-created models in realistic environments- Virtual and augmented reality experiences (via ARKit, ARFoundation)- Scalable UI design and development- Cross-platform development for Windows, OSX, iOS, and browser-based softwareOther cross-disciplinary work with Parametric has included:- Drafting and editing federal grant proposals/applications- On-site testing and user feedback collection- Professional development sessions with educators and potential customers- Conference and trade show exhibitions and product demos

I was brought on to the Parametric team to assist in development of a new educational software product made in the Unity 3D engine. Some of my work includes:Feature prototyping and development - modified and updated an existing code base from a previous product iteration, added new features based on student and teacher feedback.Platform migration - handled migration to a new browser-based platform (WebGL) as well as mobile platforms, ensured feature parity with standalone Windows and OSX product builds.UX development - prototyped UI elements and backend interactions for several key systems, integrated legacy systems with latest Unity UI framework.

My time at IPR consisted of ensuring broadcast quality during low traffic hours (late nights, weekends, etc.) and monitoring transmitter health at several different locations throughout Iowa.
