“The best teacher in the world is someone who loves what he or she does, and just loves it in front of you.” (F Rogers)I am a hard working and self-motivated individual with experience working with children of all ages in a variety of situations and roles. My overriding philosophy in education is simply that “learning happens when children like their teacher alongside feeling liked by their teacher."I attempt to present the learning in an engaging and motivating way, which captures the children's interest. I do indeed try to ensure that pupils in my class know the purpose for the learning taking place. I try hard to get the work to dovetail with interests in the class as well as trying to instill a love of learning.I believe that attitudes are caught and therefore feel responsible for letting children see my excitement for what we are learning first, so that they might know the endless possibilities of learning around them.
