In this senior leadership role I am responsible for leading and managing the planning, development and delivery of the University’s digital learning and teaching technologies and support services, providing a range of high quality and effective services which support and drive forward the University’s vision of leading-edge education and world-class facilities.

I managed the delivery, maintenance, support and development of a number of key university systems and services that supported core business activities and contributed extensively to the delivery of the university’s strategic corporate goals.Key responsibilities:- Management of a large team including team leaders, developers, project managers, business analysts and trainers- Leading on the design, development, deployment and support of the groups systems and services (including Microsoft Dynamics CRM , Microsoft SharePoint intranet portal and public facing digital presence through Terminal 4 Content Management system) - responsible for analysing the business project requirements and prioritising development in line with business need including contributing to departmental and the organisational strategic plans -Programme and Project Management and delivery of key strategic short-term and long-term projects, including Mobile Apps, CRM, web applications, Internet and Intranet, Educational Technology solutions and design and upgrade of Learning Spaces.- IT Governance and Compliance – develop policy and procedures to ensure appropriate and secure system/service use- Reporting to other Senior Managers within the directorate as well as reporting into a number of university boards - Manage cross functional teams in the implementation, upgrade and migration of core systems and services - Manage the planning and delivery of the directorate budgets in relation to my areas of responsibility

I managed the Web Support Team in the delivery of the enterprise wide content management system as well as the department’s e-learning technical solutions and video production.Key responsibilities:- Management of the delivery, maintenance and support of the groups systems and services- Technical Project Manager for the Digital Transformation Project including managing the technical budget to transform the organisations digital presence to enhance the ability to attract potential students- Development and maintenance of an enterprise media streaming solution- Management of the university’s educational video production requirements
