Responsible for hardware and software for global supply chain facilities.Selection of ERP software for corporate, manufacturing, distribution, and sales offices in the United States, France, Germany, UK, and the Netherlands.Selection of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Control System (WCS) for greenfield distribution and order fulfillment facility in the Netherlands.Development and maintenance of WMS in 2 manufacturing facilities in the United States.Development and maintenance of sales forecasting and demand planning software for global supply chain (locations in more than 150 countries).

Provided server side support in PHP and MySQL for a suite of iPhone applicationsDesigned and implemented a warehouse inventory and order fulfillment system for a cosmetic and nutritional supplement company. Implemented in a J2EE environment using Tomcat and PostgreSQL.Designed and implemented a billing system in the .NET environment.Designed and implemented a new version of a commercial CMMS system. The system schedule, tracks, and reports on a wide variety of work and preventative maintenance in a variety of industries. The system was implemented in the .NET environment.Designed and implemented a system to convert the photographic lab from analog to digital image processing. The Windows system was implemented as a COM+ system with .NET Web Services. The native UIs were implemented in .NET. The database was designed as a central data store replicated to multiple geographic locations. Web servers provided UIs and web services for both internal and external clients. A consistent security model was implemented throughout the infrastructure.Refactored an inventory system for a pharmaceutical company. The system was implemented on a JBOSS server using an Oracle database. Refactoring included the establishment of clear transactional boundaries and performance improvements.Analysis of moving an HTML and Java based help platform to the Windows mobile environment.Created home office software for the distribution and data collection for POS systems in the field. The system provided automatic configuration of the POS systems during setup and home office processing of daily downloads. The daily updates were processed by a multi-threaded server which continually monitored daily receipts and performed data collection for sales analysis.Various projects on a contract basis for Dell Computer Corporation. These included database design and small systems to support manufacturing processes at the Dell manufacturing facility.

Developed and supported a WMS in partnership with Data Recognition, Inc, and Calendar Club, LLC. The product was developed from conception to production in six months to support a greenfield distribution and order fulfillment center for Calendar Club, LLC. The system was based on a Microsoft DCOM distributed architecture pre-dating the .NET platform. Calendar Club, LLC received the Retail Innovation Technology Award (RITA) from the National Retail Federation in 1998 for their technological innovation utilizing the system.Supported business as CEO.

Managed and participated in product development. Development and design of new functionality for the LIFE/COMM and LIFE/70 product line of life insurance software products. Extensive experience with large software development projects, customer relations (including managing and coordinating user groups, development funding projects, etc.) and internal business management.

Various responsibilities related to system support. Computer operator and programmer for enterprise life insurance software. Originally responsible for performance improvements of batch jobs through JCL and VSAM tuning. Trained in IBM 370 Assembler and COBOL in an intensive class for internal programmer development. After completion of course supported batch systems and real time systems written in both 370 Assembler and COBOL.

Performed computer operator responsibilities for mainframe computers processing Medicare and Medicaid. Supported batch systems on an IBM 370 series running OS/SVS. Supported real time system running under CICS.
