I currently take the cyber security program at the Center for Advanced Research and Technology. I am really interested in the cyber security field and am planning to major in that for college. I am a Junior at Clovis High School but come to CART every morning to work with other classmates on securing and defending networks. I am trying to go on the pathway of cyber security. I am working towards getting accepted into Grand Canyon University and major in cyber security. I wish to later go on and have a career in this subject. I became interested in this subject because I was always into computers and gaming. It later led me into joining this lab at CART and since then I became very interested in it. I am currently working to gain scholarships and make my grades to be necessary to be excepted into GCU. I am learning as much as I can in cyber security to have knowledge when I go to major in the subject. And I am trying to be noticed by the college by being in touch with the advisers and asking questions. Currently at Clovis High School I am in band and marching band. I mainly play the Bassoon and the Saxophone but am willing to learn new instruments when needed. I am going to compete for the section leader position in marching band next year but, I am currently the principle bassoon in the Clovis High Wind Ensemble.
