Whilst on longer passages, i often step in as the 3rd watch keeper.The responsibilites of this role are to take a watch, ensuring the safe navigation of the vessel and ensuring compliance with the COLREGS at all times.I am also responsible for any Sail changes or Ship's manouvers during my watch, unless relieved by the Commanding Officer or the Sailing Master.

I am responsible for running the Ships routine. I am one of the primary youth workers on board the ship and am tasked with looking after the pastoral care of the young people and any personal issues that our young people may have. I am also responsible for maintaining discipline and hygeine below decks and for the maintenence of the ships tender.
