Last year South Central Family Health Centers provided more than. 26,000 patients with care from ten sites and a mobile unit in South and Southeast Los Angeles County. Since joining SCFHC in 2015, I have grown grant revenue by nearly 200% from $5,145,769 to $15,07,689 in 2022. Over the past 22 months, my staff has raised more than $18 million dollars from federal, state, local, and private sources to ensure the stability of quality and accessible healthcare services in South Los Angeles. I am proud to have grown my one-person Development team into a vibrant department of eleven downline reports. With support from the CEO, I was able to create new positions reporting to me, such as Grants Administrator, Marketing and Outreach Manager, Sr. Communications Associate, and a Government Relations and Public Policy Coordinator. Each of these positions support the strategic goals and objectives of the organization, and tell our clinic's story of success and challenges to our diverse audiences. SCFHC strives to provide all patients with a medical home, a place where they can access all the services they need to address their over-all wellness. While most of the adult-care provided is uncompensated, SCFHC accepts most health insurance plans so that children with medical coverage can share a medical home with parents or other loved-ones.
