As the CTO I set the direction and general goals / objectives for the development of the company; my functions are to: • Define the roles and responsibilities of each hierarchical level to achieve the goals• Lead the continuous improvement of the management system • Provide resources and means necessary for the development of actions • Adopt corrective and preventive action to correct any deviations detected • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Ensure that the organization has the necessary training for the development of the functions, establishing competences for each position • Perform analysis of the effectiveness of the Management System. • Responsible for managing, negotiating purchases and suppliers. • Establish tools must for the logistics control

Principal tasks include:- Support to the identification, evaluation and protection of research results developed (knowledge enhancement).- Support for the commercialization of research results through licensing and company creation (involved in the process of creation of the last 3 CVC spin-off companies: Cloud Sizing Services, Visual Tagging Services, Knowxel).- Support for the negotiation and drafting of contracts and agreements for transfer of knowledge collaboration.- Promote strategic partnerships with industry.- Book of technological and commercial partners.- Liaison with suppliers/external customers regarding technology transfer activities.- Coordinate the fundraising opportunities policy, according to the objectives of the center, including promoting the participation in EU framework programs (FP7 & H2020).- Coordinator of the organization of events, seminars, workshops and marketing materials.- Member of the scientific committees of networks and clusters involving business (XaRTAP, SECPhO Biocat, Connect-EU MMI, Connect-EU Factories of the Future, CIAC)
