First foray into the world of IT; starting on the bottom rung of a ladder I have wanted to climb for many years!I joined the company after successfully completing a self-funded CompTIA A+ exam, andwhilst taking a night class to work towards Cisco CCNA1. As the company has a wide range of clients I have had exposure to project work, site visits, setting up new hardware, and MDM - alongside my main role of helpdesk. At Heritage Management I built upon my knowledge base and continued to learn: The key areas of learning were Company Secretarial duties and a further understanding of general accountancy. Heritage Management prides itself on a strong client relationship, by continually providing service at an exceptional level, and building up a rapport with both clients and leaseholders alike. I was fully responsible for all aspects of management of a portfolio of high end, luxury, developments. I also spearheaded a project tackling a ‘cladding’ issue affecting a high-rise block: Dealing with residents; directors; the freeholder; developer; head lessee; London Fire Brigade; fire safety professionals; and solicitors.Aside from general block management, I played a key role in the implementation of Sage50 Accounts, including training staff and creation of custom statements and Excel integration. I also designed and implemented processes and spreadsheets to improve efficiency of business-critical tasks. Saving time for all staff, whilst also improving reliability.

A varied role: I joined as an audio typist and quickly took on further responsibilities including budgeting and ensuring Section 20 Notices were served correctly.From this basis I stepped into the shoes as a Property Manager, learning through primarily through experience and expanding upon this through various courses. I was involved in various aspects of Section 20 and in addition to the usual block management, I was responsible for a significant number of lettings - including aspects of AST tenancies and refurbishment of flats.Whilst at Freshwater I worked towards, and ultimately obtained, my MIRPM and AssocRICS qualifications.I was also involved with the planning, training, and implementation of new bespoke software for the organisation.

A problem solving and customer service role. Prioritizing and organizing the workload of a sizeable team of technicians (~20). Building a strong rapport with technicians and clients alike.One of my best achievements was writing a macro to semi-automate transition away from old computer system; saving hundreds of man hours across the office.
