Epogee LLC is a food technology company dedicated to making food better. Our flagship product, EPG, is a fat alternative made through a revolutionary food technology and I believe it is the most extraordinary food innovation on the planet! EPG delivers the benefits of traditional fats, such as enhanced taste and texture, with dramatically fewer calories and no tradeoffs. Recent commercial product introductions have been for confectionery, ice cream and nut butters. Follow-on applications include plant-based meats and nutrition bars. We love to work with food innovators who are inspired by the unmet need for healthier products that are enjoyable to eat. Category defining N!ck's (low-carb, low-fat, ice cream made with EPG) is now in hundreds of US supermarkets. EPG product development was carefully coordinated with FDA. It received FDA confirmation as Generally Regarded As Safe on November 12, 2015. Our first new patents were issued in January 2013. Additional patents have been issued. Other patents and new intellectual property are in advanced preparation. Prior to founding Epogee, I was Global Business Leader for Foods and Outputs for Dow AgroSciences, which included the "Healthy Oils"​ business Group. Previously, I led Strategic Planning for The Dow Chemical Company. I have created value in a wide range of roles spanning the Life Sciences including responsibility for new technology and emerging geographic areas. Specialties: Tough problems in health, food, and agriculture which require integration of complex technical, regulatory, competitive, and economic elements. Have identified and implemented multiple "breakthrough"​ solutions.
