June 09 2016. I'm pleased to report that on April 19 th I was able to receive the gift of life and underwent a successful heart transplant at the Peter Munk Cardiac Center in Toronto. I'm well onto the road to a full recovery although the doctors are saying a return to work is probably 6-12 months away after transplantation date, I'm going to seriously evaluate my options starting in September and spend the summer healing and returning to a normal healthy lifestyle.
