▪ Was hired as a contract employee▪ Assigned to convert a portable road profilometer, which was originally designed in Denmark, from metric parts to use American standard material components. This included creating Solidworks models and drawings for over 20 parts and creating a detailed assembly drawing. This project was completed three weeks ahead of schedule.▪ Used a manual vertical mill to create brackets and small component parts for a 60’ long by 15’ wide by 30’ tall machine that will be used by the FAA to test the durability of commercial runways.▪ Was also tasked with the ordering of tooling the mill, and providing a recommendation for the purchase of a manual lathe.▪ Performed assembly duties, as required to assist the manufacturing team achieve the strenuous shipping deadline assigned to the FAA machine.

▪ Worked as a contract employee for three months before being promoted to full time employee.▪ Using mathematical equation, designed sheet metal layouts for the job shop.▪ After learning to proficiently use AutoCAD, created drawings for my designs to be used in the manufacturing and assembly process.▪ Utilized ProNest software to determine the best and most cost effective layout for the plasma cutting table.
