I am a Senior Scientist with specialized expertise in phage display antibody discovery and engineering. At Sorrento Therapeutics, I developed a VHH library from Camelid PBMCs and created various Humanized affinity maturation libraries. I have successfully delivered multiple antibodies for therapeutic development including CAR-T, CAR-NK,ADC, and BiTe, through high throughput screening and antibody engineering, many of which are in the process of patent application. Furthermore, I possess the proficiency to perform single B cell antibody screening from PBMCs. My knowledge base encompasses protein structure, mutation, and purification, as demonstrated through my Ph.D. research on the structure and function of proteins essential to human diseases. During this time, I deposited 6 protein structures to the PDB database, and my Ph.D. thesis was published in a highly esteemed journal with hundreds of citations from fellow researchers.I am also well-versed in yeast cell biology and molecular biology, having spent nine years at UCSD studying signal transduction of the secretory pathway using yeast genetics manipulation and phenotypic analysis. My work has resulted in several publications in renowned journals. My key skills include phage display, antibody library construction and engineering, epitope binning, SPR kinetics, protein structure analysis, Yeast genetics, Yeast-2-hybrid, cell-based assay, and DNA and RNA molecular cloning.
