Install steel racking systems in Walmart Distribution Center.

•Manage the day-to-day operation of a large research laboratory.•Train new laboratory personnel on use of equipment and diverse laboratory protocols. •Help oversee the training of undergraduate and graduate students, Post-doctorial Fellows, and Medical Doctors, who work in our laboratory. •Coordinate and assign routine laboratory assignments to keep a safe and smooth functioning laboratory, which complied with all institutional, state and federal guidelines.•Maintain laboratory records and prepare SOPs for the laboratory. •Purchase equipment, chemicals, radioisotopes, reagents, and laboratory supplies, with minor consultation with the Principle Investigator. •Assess and ensure the operation and calibration of essential laboratory equipment and instruments.•Help provide oversight for the laboratory’s financial records; administer and track various grants from several individuals.•Develop, analyze, and negotiate budgets for procured services and equipment.•Responsible for monitoring all laboratory members to asses each has taken the proper safety training and had kept that training current. •Act as liaison between the laboratory and outside offices, other laboratories, and companies.•Handle the shipment of the laboratory’s reagents to outside laboratories, working with Grants and Contracts to expedite Material Transfer Agreements.•Preform literature searches to develop information relevant for the laboratory’s research.•Develop research hypotheses and designed experiments to address these hypotheses.•Troubleshoot experimental protocols and techniques, as needed.•Collect, analyze, and interpret data resulting from experiments to present findings and conclusions to the Principal Investigator.•Assist others with the conduct of their ongoing research. •Collaborate with the Principal Investigator, other laboratory members, and outside laboratories to assist in the development and conduct of the laboratory’s research program.
